Management of the Company’s day-to-day operations is conducted by the Chairman of the Management Board and Federal Grid Company’s Management Board as a whole, which is accountable to the General Shareholders Meeting, as well as to the Company’s Board of Directors. The Management Board acts based on the Company’s Articles of Association and the Provision(s) on the Management Board.
The Chairman of the Company’s Management Board is responsible for formulating strategic and development objectives for the Company in regards to: economic and financial matters, financial accounting and reporting, production and commercial activities, personnel, scientific and technical issues, investment and corporate policies, security enforcement and the legal groundwork for the Company’s business and the organization of corporate business.
Issues that fall under the competence of the Management Board include the following:
- To draw up the Company’s business priorities and potential plans for their fulfillment;
- To prepare a report on how the Company has adhered to decisions made at the General Shareholders Meeting, as well as other decisions made by the Company’s Board of Directors;
- To address other problems concerning the management of the Company’s day-to-day operations in accordance with resolutions made by the General Shareholders Meeting and the Board of Directors, as well as questions submitted to the Management Board by the Chairman of the Management Board.
