GDR Program
On June 24th, 2008, Federal Grid Company received permission from the Russian Federal Financial Markets Service to place and circulate securities from all currently registered issues of its ordinary shares outside of Russia in an amount not exceeding 287,269,492,431 ordinary shares.
The launch of the Company’s Global Depository Receipt (GDR) program took place June 30th, 2008. This includes GDRs which did not go through listing procedures as per Regulation S and Rule 144А rules and certifying the rights to the Company’s underlying ordinary shares, and which were part of the re-organization of FGC UES and RAO UES of Russia.
One GDR represents 500 ordinary shares of Federal Grid Company.
In 2011, the Company completed listing its GDRs on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange. On March 28th, 2011, trading in the GDRs commenced on the International Order Book (IOB) of the London Stock Exchange.
From July 1st, 2013 The Bank of New York Mellon is the Depository Bank for our GDR program.
