08/26/2021 Zaraysk power supply center to get newest Russian electrical equipment Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) begins reconstructing the Osetr 220 kV substation, the main power supply center of Zaraysk urban district in the Moscow region. The substation's core equipment will be replaced with highly reliable up-to-date analogs of Russian origin. The renovated substation will provide more reliable supply of electricity to a territory with more than 39 thousand people. Completion of the work is planned for 2023. The project investments exceeded RUB 390 mn.
08/24/2021 Rosseti FGC UES Improves Reliability Of Primorye Energy Ring 500 kV Transmission Lines Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has completed repairs at the 500 kV backbone transmission line 'Primorskaya SDPP – Chuguevka-2". The line is more than 290 km long. It takes out the power from Far East's biggest thermal power plant to consumers in Primorye's south and is the key link in the circular power supply arrangement in the Primorye territory.

08/19/2021 Rosseti FGC UES upgrades backbone 500 kV transmission line in Tyumen region Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has completed repairing the Demyanskaya – Tobol 500 kV transmission line. This is an interconnecting link between the 500 kV power hubs that participate in the supply of electricity to the cluster of Uvat and Tobol oil fields in the Tyumen region. The work has improved the reliability of power supply to the oil pumping and compressor stations of the mainline pipe systems, oil production facilities, and one of the region's major electricity consumer, SIBUR Holding.
08/16/2021 Relay protection and automation system improved at biggest substations of Perm Territory Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has upgraded its relay protection and automation systems at Severnaya and Kalino 500 kV substations. Six state-of-the-art microprocessor-based relay protection and automation cabinets have been installed, intended to safeguard the substation equipment and transmission lines from short circuits. More reliable power supply is now achieved for the Perm Territory with total population over 2.57 mn residents. The new equipment will also improve the transit of power from the Perm SDPP to the north of the Sverdlovsk region and to the Republic of Bashkortostan.
08/12/2021 Rosseti FGC UES revamping power equipment at Tomsk oil production's key substation Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has begun revamping the most powerful electricity hub in the Tomsk region – Sovetsko-Sosninskaya 220 kV substation. A new 63 MVA transformer and modern relay protection devices will be installed. This will improve the reliability of power supply to the Sovetskoye and Vakhskoye oil fields by Rosneft, to the head oil pumping station of the Aleksandrovskoye – Tomsk – Anzhero-Sudzhensk oil pipeline by Transneft-Siberia JSC, and to consumers of Strezhevoy town with 40 thousand residents. The project investments will amount to 155 mn rubles. The completion of the work is planned for 2022.

Rosseti FGC UES provides electricity to residential blocks in north-eastern Krasnodar
Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has connected to 220 kV Vostochnaya Promzona the 10 kV cable transmission lines that deliver power to Rossinsky residential block in the Prikubansky District of Krasnodar. Reliable power supply is provided for 18 multi-storey buildings with over 1.1 thousand inhabitants.
Prikubansky is the largest district in Krasnodar. In 2018, Rosseti FGC UES built the Vostochnaya Promzona 220 kV substation specifically to cover its growing electricity demand.
07/29/2021 Rosseti FGC UES gets to use Unified NTD Register of Rosseti Group in its business Joint order by FGC UES, PJSC and Rosseti PJSC no. 224/343 of July 20, 2021 "On FGC UES corporate standards and amendments to FGC UES order no. 356 dated June 11, 2013" has been approved, according to which the business units of FGC UES executive offices and branches (MES) should be guided in their production activities by the normative technical documents listed in the Unified NTD Register of Rosseti Group to ensure reliability and safety of electrical grid facilities (order by Rosseti PJSC no. 630 dated December 30, 2020).
Rosseti FGC UES begins final stage of redesigning Russian south's biggest power center
Tikhoretsk 500 kV substation, which supplies electricity to Krasnodar and interconnectors of Kuban, Stavropol and Rostov regional power systems, will have 220 kV and 110 kV gas-insulated switchgears (GIS) built up and power equipment renovated. This is already the third stage of the upgrade. The total cost of work is 4.2 bn rubles.
07/20/2021 Rosseti FGC UES adds capacity to Primorie nodal power center Rosseti FGC UES (FGC UES, PJSC) has invested 1.5 bn rubles into the upgrade of the Lesozavodsk 220 kV substation. The power center's capacity has doubled, reaching 80 MVA. The upgrade has brought opportunities for developing the Lesozavodsk urban district with its 41,000 residents. In addition, the reliability of energy transit from Primorie SDPP has been improved.
07/14/2021 Rosseti FGC UES to build new power center in the Astrakhan region to release 340 MW of power of five wind farms Rosseti FGC UES has commenced the final stage of construction of the highly automated Zubovka 220 kV substation in the north of the Astrakhan region. This will link the Unified National Power Grid with Izluchnaya, Manlanskaya, Staritskaya, Kholmskaya and Chernoyarskaya windfarms. The company will invest about 3 bn rubles into the project.
07/12/2021 Rosseti FGC UES to renovate power equipment at the Krasnoyarsk Territory south key substation Rosseti FGC UES has begun upgrading the Shushenskaya 220 kV master substation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. A new 63 MVA autotransformer and modern relay protection devices will be installed. This will improve the reliability of electricity supply to the southern regions of the territory, with about 51k residents, and the transit of energy to the Republic of Tuva. The project investments will amount to 209 mn rubles. The completion of the work is planned for 2021.
